1st January 2012. Small stones 1 (posted late!)

We run from the restaurant in pouring rain across the streets of London, laughing and grumbling, not dressed for the weather. Water seeps through our clothes and streams down our faces. Soon afterwards inside the Imperial War Museum watching a film about atrocities and genocide I realise again, with a force that knocks me to the core just how lucky I am and I feel humbled beyond tears.

The River of Stones is a project to write about something small every day in January. If you follow the link you can read about it

I had that same experience in IWM North. Humbling.

    • Pseu says:

Where is that, Tilly? I thought we had been there, but I may be confusing it with the Royal Armories?

      • Tilly Bud says:

Salford, near United’s ground. If you ever visit it, and don’t visit ME, there’ll be trouble!

      • Pseu says:

        ew er missus….

  8. IsobelandCat says:

It’s the Libeskind building in Manchester. Royal Armouries are at Leeds.
    Anorak mode again… :)

    • Pseu says:

      :)

      Yes it was Leeds
